The next six steps demonstrate how to cut the ginger.
Place a piece of ginger on the chopping board.
Now cut a piece of ginger. Take the uncut piece of ginger and place somewhere else. Don't cover the uncut ginger with any bags after cutting a piece. The household air creates a seal for the uncut ginger.

Take the slices of the ginger and put the slices together.
Take the knife and cut the slices put together perpendicular.
By cutting the slices perpendicular, the ginger is being cut into small pieces.

10. Add Ginger, Red Onion, and Stir

Add the small pieces of ginger, add one whole red onion which is cut into pieces, and stir.
The red onion can be substituted with one whole yellow onion or 1/2 cup of green onions.
Stir.
Marinate at least 30 minutes. If marinating, you may preheat the oven at 350 degrees anytime before you bake the House Chicken.

11. Place Chicken In A Pan

Place the House Chicken in a pan.
Sprinkle pepper.
Bake for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
The chicken is ready when the juice is bubbling and the chicken is firm to the touch from a fork.
