1. Oil The Pan
- Prepare to bake a whole chicken or roast a whole chicken.
- Oil the entire pan with a thin coat of vegetable oil or olive oil. Don't make it too thin.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Prepare Carrots, Celery, and Onions
- Cut carrots, celery, and onions.
- Approximately four sticks of medium sized carrots, four pieces of medium sized celery, and one whole yellow onion were used in the recipe.

3. Place Carrots, Celery, and Onions On Oiled Pan
- Pour the carrots, celery, and onions in the pan.
- Mix the carrots, celery, and onions around the pan.

4. Open The Whole Chicken
- The whole chicken used in the recipe is 16 pounds.
- Open the packaging and leave the chicken in the packaging.
- Remove the contents inside the chicken.
- Optional: Cut off the excess fat.

5. Clean The Whole Chicken
- Clean the chicken under running water.
- Make sure every part of the chicken is cleaned including between the breast and drumstick.
- Clean for about 15-20 seconds.

7. Place Cleaned Chicken On Pan
- Place the cleaned chicken on the pan and on top of the carrots, celery, and onions.
- Optional: You may tie the chicken which I believe is better cooking.

8. Add Seasonings
- Spread seasonings around the chicken. Be generous.
- McCormick Season All Seasoned Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Salt, and Paprika were seasonings used.
- You may substitute garlic salt for real garlic. Three to five garlic pieces are plenty. Spread the garlic in pieces around and inside the chicken.

9. Place In Oven
- Place chicken inside oven.
- Cook at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 70 minutes or until baked depending on the weight and the condition of the chicken when preparing.

- Don't forget to turn off the oven.
